basic information regarding real estate law in Turkey below:
According to Land Registry
Law numbered 2644, the following
foreign real
and
legal
persons
may buy property in Turkey:

Foreign
nationals (real persons) are able to acquire real estate or limited
rights
in rem in Turkey on the conditions of being reciprocal and complying
with
legal restrictions.
-
Foreign
commercial companies having a legal personality established in foreign
states according to the laws of those states are able to acquire real
estate
and limited rights in rem in Turkey
according to the provisions of special
laws. Foreign legal entities other than the above mentioned
commercial
companies, such as foreign charities, and foreign foundations, can not
buy
property in Turkey.

Foreign
capital companies whose capital either in whole or in part belongs to
foreign real or legal persons and who are established according to the
provisions
of the Turkish Trade Law in Turkey and registered Turkish Trade Register
are
allowed to acquire real estate or limited real rights in areas where
acquisition
of these rights is allowed for Turkish Citizens.
In the light
of the legal framework mentioned above, both Turkish citizens and
foreign
owners have equal property ownerships rights.
There are
various types of properties in Turkey. Prices depend on the location of
the
property, the decoration, the quality of material used in construction,
and other
such
considerations. Properties in Turkey are generally free hold.
According to the
Land Registry Law numbered 2644, there is a limit on the total area of
the real estate
and on the limited real rights on real property estates. However, the
Council of Ministers is authorized to increase this area allocation.
Intellectual Property
